Southern Rewinds were asked by Tim at John Newbery Cricket UK to motorize their hand cranked cricket bat press, this is what we done.

We mounted a motor and gear box under the sliding bed with a chain and sprocket drive. The motor and gear box is controlled by a Mitsubishi drive allowing precise speed control of the sliding bed while the operator is using the machine. The sliding bed has an auto return system to bring the bed back to its start position.
